8. More numbersCounting in large numbers is very important when bargaining in Indonesia because prices are often in the thousands of rupiah! 16. Understanding tensesIndonesian doesn't work in the same way as English when it comes to verb tenses. Indonesians simply say "not yet", "already", "currently" and "will".
