Both of our courses include recordings of a native Indonesian speaker so you will need to have a computer with a sound card.

Learn to Speak Indonesian

The Learn to Speak Indonesian course is a paid online Indonesian language course that includes useful words and phrases. This conversational language course is broken down into lessons, each focused on a single topic.

Each lesson includes recorded audio, word list, useful phrases, conversations and games so you can learn to speak Bahasa Indonesia quickly. This online course includes handouts with each lesson that you can print out and save to your own computer.

Aimed at: people who want to learn conversational Indonesian online

Note: The first lesson in this course, covering pronunciation, is free. You can also trial one other lesson for free after signing up. You will be able to activate your trial lesson by email.

Indonesian 10 a Day

The Indonesian 10 a Day course is a free online Indonesian language course that teaches you at least 10 new words in every lesson. Each lesson focuses on a single topic.

You can hear recorded audio see a word list and useful phrases for each lesson. Unlike the paid course, this course does not include lesson handouts, games or sample conversations.

Learn to Speak Indonesian

If you're sure that you want to learn to speak Indonesian, this is the right course for you. We introduce new situations in each lesson and reinforce what you've learned with handouts, conversations and games. We also include some background information about how the language is structured.

You'll find it easy to pick up all the useful words and phrases that you need for conversational Indonesian.

Indonesian 10 a Day

We'd suggest you take this course if you want an introduction to the Indonesian language. It's a good place to start if you are not sure whether or not you want to learn this language.
